Do Mexicans suffer stockholm syndrome?

How come they continue watching those soap opras with the Spanish actors who look down on the brown Mestizos and indians? Mexicans should quit worshipping the Spanish and their white beauty, it's been years since Mexico has got its' independence from Spain, yet they still follow the caste system set up by the Spanish.
